Before You Begin
Before setting up the connection in rezStream Cloud:
- You must have a direct contract and active account with Glamping Hub.
- Complete your property setup in the Glamping Hub extranet, including your property information, units, descriptions, images, and other required details.
- Contact Glamping Hub Support through the messaging option in their extranet and request that your property be connected to Channex.
- Glamping Hub will complete the connection on their end and provide your Hotel ID/Property ID.
Important: Glamping Hub must connect your property to Channex before you can successfully complete the setup in rezStream Cloud.
Step 1: Create the Glamping Hub Channel
Once Glamping Hub has confirmed the Channex connection and provided your Hotel ID/Property ID:
- In rezStream Cloud, navigate to Integrations > rezStream Channels.
- From the Channels tab, click Create.
- Complete the following fields:
- Channel: Select GlampingHub.
- Title: Enter your property name followed by GlampingHub, such as Property Name - GlampingHub.
- Currency: This defaults to Auto, but you can select another currency if needed.
- Hotel Code: Under Connection Settings, enter the Hotel ID/Property ID provided by Glamping Hub.
- Click Test Connection.
A successful test confirms that Channex can access your property in Glamping Hub.
If the connection fails, verify that the Hotel ID/Property ID is correct. If the ID is correct, contact Glamping Hub Support to confirm that your property has been connected to Channex.
Step 2: Map Your Units and Rate Plans
Once you receive a successful connection message:
- Click the Mapping tab.
- Select the appropriate rezStream Unit or Unit Type for each Glamping Hub room type and verify the Base Capacity.
- Map the applicable Glamping Hub room types and rate plans to the corresponding rooms and rates in rezStream Channels.
- Confirm that all applicable room types and rate plans are mapped before continuing.
Step 3: Configure Channel Rate Adjustments
Click the Channel Settings tab.
If needed, you can configure a channel-specific rate adjustment to increase or decrease the rates sent to Glamping Hub by either:
- A fixed dollar amount
- A percentage
If you don't need to adjust your Glamping Hub rates, leave these settings unchanged.
Step 4: Save and Activate the Connection
Once your setup and mapping are complete:
- Click Save at the bottom of the page.
- If Save and Activate is available, select that option.
- If you only see Save, return to the Channels tab after saving.
- Locate Glamping Hub, click Actions, and select Activate.
- Once the channel is active, select Actions > Full Sync to send your current rates and availability to Glamping Hub.
Step 5: Set the Reservation Source
Once the connection is active:
- Click the Gear icon in the upper-right corner of the rezStream Channels page.
- From the Channel Mappings tab, select the appropriate Source for Glamping Hub.
- Save your changes.
This source will be associated with reservations received through the Glamping Hub channel.
Adding a New Source
If you need to create a new source:
- Navigate to Configuration > Source of Contact and Reason for Stay.
- Select the Sources tab.
- Click Add New Source.
- Enter your Glamping Hub source and save your changes.
- Return to Integrations > rezStream Channels > Gear icon > Channel Mappings.
- Select the new source for Glamping Hub and save your changes.
You're Ready to Go
Your Glamping Hub connection through rezStream Channels, powered by Channex, is now active. Current rates and availability can be synced with Glamping Hub, and incoming reservations will flow through the configured channel connection.
