Eviivo Data Export

This document explains how to use reports in Eviivo to export contact and reservation information for import into rezStream Cloud.

This export should only take a few minutes to pull decades of data.

REQUIREMENTS

  1. Access to an eviivo account
  2. Ability to run reports in the account

RUNNING THE REPORTS

  1. Choose the “Reports” option from the top
  2. Find the “Booking Report” click the “View” button for it.
  3. Choose “Date Range”
  4. Input the date range. (This can time out if it is too long)
  5. Click the “Download” button.
  6. Next find the “Guest Marketing Report” *If you're unable to locate this report, we recommend contacting Eviivo to confirm whether it has been renamed or relocated. Without access to the Guest Marketing Report, guest addresses will not be included in the export, and any contacts without reservations will not be transferred.
  7. Choose your date range.
  8. Select true for “Include Non-staying Contacts”
  9. Click the “View Report” button.
  10. Find the “Export drop down menu” ()
  11. Select “CSV (comma delimited)

EXPORT DATA CLEANUP

  1. Rename the bookings export file to “bookings.csv”
  2. Make sure the guest export file is named “guests.csv”
  3. Open “bookings.csv”
  4. If you see something like “sep=,” as the first line, delete it.
  5. Replace the header row with the contents from SEC. 1 (the header row should now be the first row and it should contain the names of all the columns for the csv file).
  6. If you had to download multiple booking reports, you will need to copy the contents (minus the header row) from your other downloads into the booking.csv file.
  7. These reports are now ready to be run through the pre-converter.
