Sales Reports

Learn how to access the Sales reports in rezStream Cloud to review sales activity, analyze booking trends, and track sales data by category, rate plan, user, package, and channel.

The sales reports exist to help you analyze your sales and trends by looking at a complete history of your data.

Sales reports are very similar to Revenue reports. The primary difference is that Sales reports review when sales are made, while Revenue reports review when those sales convert.

How to Access the Reports

  1. Click the Reports tab in the left navigation menu.


  2. Select the Sales section.


  3. Expand the Sales Section.

  4.  You have 5 Sales reports to choose from:  
    • All Sales by Group
    • All Sales by Type
    • All Sales Details
    • Reservation Sales by User
    • By Channel (excluding changes)

Sales Report Data

The Sales reports contain the following data to help you see how much sales activity you have received. Additional columns may appear depending on the specific Sales report being viewed, but the fields below are the most common across all Sales reports:

  • Item - the name of the item or category for the sale
  • Quantity - the number of items included in the sales totals
  • Sales - this is the net sales amount before fees and taxes
  • Fee - fees associated with the sale
  • Tax - the total tax charged for the sale
  • Total - this is the gross sales amount including sales, fees, and taxes

The Reports

 

All Sales by Group

All charges based on the date sold grouped your way; by Property, Channel, Revenue Account, Source of Contact, Reason for Stay, Rate, Reservation Promo Code, or User.


All Sales by Type

All charges based on the date sold and grouped by type including unit, point of sale, resource, and cancel fees.


All Sales Details

A detailed listing of all charges (individual invoice line items) based on the date sold.


Reservation Sales by User

A breakdown by user of all reservation sales based on the booking date, including a breakdown of unit, package, and POS items sold.


By Channel (excluding changes)

Reservation sales at the time of booking grouped by Channel. This report excludes all changes and cancellations made after the original booking date.


Sales reports can also be printed or exported for additional review, reconciliation, and business reporting purposes.
