How to Create Rate Plans

Go to the Configuration tab.

Under the Rates and Taxes heading, click Rate Plans (Unit Types).

Click the Add New Rate Plan button.

1. Create a Rate Plan Name. 
2. Assign a Default Revenue Account.
3. Assign a Default Tax Group.
4. Enter a Rate Plan Description.
5. Click Save. 

Next, select the rate plan you just created.

Click the Add a Season button.

1. You have three options for defining seasonal rates:
   
   
   

   1. Same rate for all days

      With this option, the rate remains the same regardless of the day of the week.

      1. Enter a season name and start date.
      2. Define the base rate, base capacity, and extra person charges.
      3. Click Save.
         
         

   2. Rates vary by weekday/weekend

      With this option, you set different rates for midweek and weekend stays and specify which days count as weekend days.

      1. Enter a season name and start date.
      2. Define weekend days using the drop-down menu.
      3. Set the base rate for midweek and weekend stays.
      4. Define the base capacity and extra person charges.
      5. Click Save.
         
         

   3. Rates vary daily

      With this option, you set a distinct rate for every individual day of the week.

      1. Enter a season name and start date.
      2. Define rates by each day of the week.
      3. Click Save.
