How to Create Rate Plans
This article explains how to create and configure a Rate Plan in Cloud PMS.

Go to the Configuration page.

Under the Rates, Taxes heading, click Rate Plans (Unit Types).

Click the Add New Rate Plan button.

- Complete the fields on the Add New Rate Plan page:
- Create a plan plan name.
- Assign a default revenue account.
- Assign a default tax group.
- Enter a rate plan description.
- Click Save.

- After saving, click Add a Rate.

- Complete the fields on the Edit Rate Settings page.

- Click Save.

Select the rate plan name.

Click the Add a Season button.

- You have three options for defining seasonal rates:

- Same Rate for All Days *With this option, the rate remains the same regardless of the days of the week.
- Enter a season name and start date.
- Define the base rate, base capacity, and extra person charges.
- Click Save.

- Rates Vary by Weekday/Weekend
- Enter a season name and start date.
- Define weekend days using the drop-down menu.
- Set the base rate for midweek and weekend stays.
- Define the base capacity and extra person charges.
- Click Save.

- Rates Vary Daily
- Enter a season name and start date.
- Define rates by each day of the week.
- Click Save.

- Same Rate for All Days *With this option, the rate remains the same regardless of the days of the week.
- You have three options for defining seasonal rates:
