Creating a New Add-on Package

Add-on packages allow properties to bundle POS items or service such as champagne, chocolates, or activity passes into a single purchase that guests can add to their reservation. 

Follow the steps below to create a new package in rezStream Cloud.

Create a Package

  1. Go to Configuration in rezStream Cloud.

  2. Click Packages.

  3. Select Add New Package.

  4. Enter a Name and Description for the package

Add Items to the Package

  1. Click Add Item.

  2. Use the search box to find the POS items you want to include.
  3. You may need to type part of the item name to display itimage-png-Mar-12-2024-09-03-04-8070-PM
  4. For each item you add, set the following:
    1. Price
    2. Charge Type (one-time or daily)

  5. Click Save for each item.
  6. After all items have been added, click Save Package.

Make Packages Available on the Booking Engine

If you want to make the packages available for online purchase:

  1. Open the package and toggle Allow on the Booking Engine to enable it.
  2. Click Save in the upper right corner.
  3. Go to Booking Engine > Settings. 
  4. Toggle Sell Packages Online to ON.
  5. Click Save.

Packages will appear as Enhancements in the Booking Engine.
