Steps to transfer a payment using gift certificates.
- Select the original invoice that has the existing payment on it.
- Click the 'Add Gift Certificate' button to add a gift certificate to the invoice. Make the value of the gift certificate the exact amount of the payment.
- Now select the invoice that does not have the payment. Click on 'Make Payment' and use the newly created gift certificate as the form of payment.
