How to Process a Refund with rezStream Payments Powered by Nexio

If you are using rezStream Payments Powered by Nexio as your payment processor, follow the steps below to issue a refund.

Steps to Process a Refund

  1. Open the reservation in rezStream Cloud.
  2. Click on the View Invoice button.
  3. In the middle section under Transactions, you’ll see all posted payments. The guest’s name will appear in blue.
  4. Click on the guest’s name (in blue).
  5. Select Void/Refund.
  6. Enter the refund amount.
  7. Click Refund Payment to complete the process.

Important Notes

  • Same-day payments will be voided (not refunded).
  • Payments from prior days will be refunded.
  • With rezStream Payments Powered by Nexio, you can only refund amounts that have already been charged. This is why you must select the specific payment under Transactions, rather than using the general Refund button.
