Creating the Booking.com Channel in rezStream Cloud
- Navigate to: Integrations → rezStream Channels
- Select the Channels tab.

Under Connection Settings, enter the property’s Booking.com Hotel ID obtained from the Booking.com Extranet. - Advanced Settings — Optional
These settings determine which types of Booking.com reservation changes will trigger a modification to be downloaded into rezStream Cloud. Available options include:- VCC: Downloads changes related to the reservation’s Virtual Credit Card.

- Payout Method: Downloads changes to the payment method, such as a change from VCC to Bank Transfer.

Test the Connection
After entering the Hotel ID:
- Click Test Connection.
If the connection is successful, a Successful Connection message will appear.
If the connection is unsuccessful, verify the Hotel ID and Booking.com Connectivity Provider settings. If the problem persists, contact Support.
Map the Units
After receiving a successful connection:
- Open the Mapping tab.
- Click Not Mapped beside each Booking.com room.
- Select the matching rezStream Cloud Unit or Unit Type.
The Number of Guests represents the property's Base Capacity.
Unless the property uses a single occupancy pricing model, select the base occupancy that matches the configured Unit Type.
Important: Every Booking.com room and occupancy level should be mapped. Leaving mappings blank may result in reservation download errors or unmapped bookings.

Channel Settings (Optional)
The Channel Settings tab allows pricing adjustments that apply only to Booking.com.
You may configure:
- A rate increase
- A rate decrease
Then enter the desired adjustment amount.
These adjustments affect only Booking.com and do not modify the property's standard rates.

Save and Activate the Channel
Once the configuration is complete:
- Click Save.
Depending on the account, you may see:
- Save & Activate, or
- Save
If only Save is available:
- Save the channel.
- Return to the Channels tab.
- Click Actions beside the Booking.com channel.
- Select Activate.
Once activated, the channel status should display Active.
Running a Full Sync
A Full Sync manually sends rates, availability, and restrictions to Booking.com.
Although a manual Full Sync is generally not required, it may be helpful after major configuration changes.
To perform a Full Sync:
- Navigate to the Channels tab.
- Click Actions beside the Booking.com channel.
- Select Full Sync.

Configure the Reservation Source
You can assign a Source to the Booking.com channel so that all reservations downloaded from Booking.com are automatically tagged with the appropriate Source. This makes it easier to track, identify, and report on Booking.com reservations within rezStream Cloud.
- Go to Channel Tenant Settings > Channel Mappings
- Assign the reservation Source for Booking.com.
If a Booking.com source has not yet been created:
- Navigate to: Configuration → Source of Contact and Reason for Stay
- Open the Sources tab.
- Click Add New Source.
- Create a source named Booking.com.
- Return to Channel Mappings and assign the newly created source.
Downloaded reservations will automatically use this source.
Information Sent to Booking.com
The Booking.com integration currently supports:
- Rates
- Availability
- Minimum Night Requirements
The following information is not sent:
- Packages
- Fees
- Taxes
Derived Rate Plans
Booking.com Derived Rate Plans generally do not require mapping.
Newly created derived rates typically behave like promotions and automatically function without additional mapping.
However, some older Booking.com accounts may still display derived rates as mappable within Channex.
If this occurs, there are two options:
Option 1 (Recommended)
Map every available rate, including the derived rates.
If derived rates remain unmapped, reservation download errors may occur.
Option 2
Delete the older derived rates within the Booking.com Extranet and recreate them.
Newly created derived rates should no longer appear as mappable and will function correctly without additional mapping.
Supported Functionality
The Booking.com integration currently supports:
- ARI updates (Availability, Rates, and Restrictions)
- Downloading reservations

These items must be managed directly within the Booking.com Extranet.

- Configure a Booking.com reservation source before activating the channel.
- Run a Full Sync after setup if immediate rate and availability updates are needed.
